After 30 years in the financial services industry, I set out to create a company that puts small businesses first. I’ve had the privilege of speaking to countless small business owners across Canada, and the big picture thinking I encountered is exactly why we started Lendified.
I’ve learned a lot from the small business owners I’ve met through the years – hardworking, enterprising Canadians such as you – and I realized there was potential being missed due to gaps in loan options. There was an opportunity to leverage innovation in technology to provide small businesses with access to funds quickly, and in a way that previously did not exist in Canada. That’s why I believe we’ve created something really important here.
Traditional lending practices often focus only on the numbers when assessing the creditworthiness of a business. Sure, numbers are important. But I wanted to put the focus back on you and your potential. Applying for loans used to be a lengthy, difficult process that, in the end, may or may not have resulted in loan approval.
