As part of Lendified’s continued involvement with the Digital Finance Institute and the Canadian FinTech and financial services community, Lendified President Kevin Clark will be serving on the Judges Panel in the upcoming 2016 Canadian FinTech Awards.
The Canadian FinTech Awards, presented annually in Toronto, were launched by The Digital Finance Institute to recognize innovators, leaders and professional advisors behind existing and emerging FinTech companies and to recognize the talent of entrepreneurs, financiers, advisors and many others who help develop and support companies in the financial technology sector in Canada.
The “Expert Advisory Panel” will provide oversight and guidance on the awards process to ensure transparency, fairness and accuracy of final voting decisions. Lendified’s Kevin Clark will serve alongside other thought leaders such as Adam Nanjee, Head of Financial Technology and Innovation at MaRS Discovery District, Alex Norman, Managing Director at TechToronto, and Alexander Peh, Head of Market Development & Mobile at PayPal Canada.
Earlier this month, Clark spoke at the Digital Financial Institute’s #FinTechTO, a major Financial Technology conference in Toronto, as part of a speakers series on FinTech success stories.
Later that day, Clark appeared on Bloomberg Canada’s The Daily Brief with Pamela Ritchie to further expand on those successes and what it means for Canada’s growing FinTech sector. Click here to watch the video.
