The recent Canadian Crowdfunding Summit 2016 that took place in Toronto was a sold out success, bringing together thought leaders in the fintech space including Canadian small business owners, investors, industry experts, and corporate executives.
Amongst them, Lendified President, Kevin Clark, was one of the event speakers, partaking in a lending-focused panel called “The Emergence of Fintech in Lending: What it Means for Banks and Main St.” The panel was moderated by Sarah Efron, Small Business Editor at The Globe and Mail, and subsequently covered by the The Globe and Mail, written by David Berman, “Banks taking notice of online lenders, panel told”, which also features excerpts from the talk by Kevin Clark and fellow panelists Tabitha Creighton (CEO/Co-founder, InvestNextDoor) and Jeff Mitelman (CEO, Thinking Capital).
NCFA has just released a video of highlights from the event, featuring Kevin Clark giving a testimonial on the National Crowdfunding Association and why the Canadian Crowdfunding Summit is a must-attend event.
