Lake of Bays Brewery

In 2010, the community of Baysville witnessed the opening of Lake of Bays Brewing Company. The company’s President, Darren Smith started work on the brewery at the young age of 23 with his family. They broke ground with the Mayor, and Baysville officials in the summer of 2009.

By mid-January 2010, the brewhouse structure was completed and ready to be populated with brewing equipment. In -37 degree weather, the tanks were lifted onto a flatbed. Soon to bear ale things good and bubbly, they were tenderly transported through the bay doors, unloaded, and turned upright with forklifts. January through March was dedicated to finishing up the exterior, landscaping and preparing for the first Baysville brew.

Lake of Bays experienced exponential growth as beer lovers across Ontario began enjoying their of ales, IPAs, pilsners, and lagers. When they needed working capital to fuel the growth Lendified was there to help. Through our simple online process, they were able to access fast and affordable funding to take their business forward. Since then, Lake of Bays has continued to expand their production and reach across Ontario. In fact, this year they officially announced the plans to open The Huntsville Brewhouse, an extra-small batch brewing facility totaling 4,000 square feet.
