Lending Operations Manager

Who we are looking for.

We are looking for a Lending Operations Manager to own and continuously improve our automated lending and funding process. The ideal candidate will be able to wear two hats – on one hand being process and efficiency minded, always looking for ways to improve our workflow, and on the other hand financially savvy, being able to understand the nuance of financial analysis and what makes for a good borrower. Being comfortable with banking information or financial statement analysis will be critical to your success, and experience with Salesforce would be a huge asset but not a requirement.

What you will do.

The Lending Operations Manager is a key member of our lending team. Reporting to the President, their role is to ensure that the lending business is hitting its targets and is built for scale to accommodate our aggressive growth targets. They will take on a variety of responsibilities core to our business and will bring a dynamic skillset. Key focuses will include: Managing process flow and documentation, providing financial analysis during and after the adjudication process, process improvement, workflow automation and monitoring the success of the business against targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the process documentation and workflow from tip to tail in the lending process;
  • Create management and operational reports and monitor the success of different areas of the lending business against goals;
  • Continuously find new ways to increase the throughput of loans, while maintaining our rigorous standards;
  • Complete and/or review bank statement analysis for select applicants during the adjudication process;
  • Create clear documentation and proposals for how to better improve the Lendified adjudication analysis process;
  • Be able to communicate clearly with potential customers and help them help us analyze their bank statements;
  • Support the adjudication of loans through review of applications ensuring completeness and adherence to Lendified’s lending methodology;
  • Be the point person for other lending team members who may have questions around process or operations;

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience (less if within highly relevant field);
  • Degree in business, finance, accounting or operations/logistics;
  • Project Management or similar experience is an asset;
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset;
  • Proven communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal;
  • Experience writing requirements, process documents, report generation;
  • Experience working in a fast paced, tech savvy, entrepreneurial environment;

Attributes and Nice to Haves:

  • Domain or industry knowledge in lending;
  • Experience with Salesforce;
  • Team management experience;

Full Stack Developer

Who we are looking for.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our small development team based in downtown Vancouver. Ideally, you enjoy technical challenges, pushing boundaries, and working in an agile environment. You should be a collaborative team player who enjoys the variety of small teams, who will promote best practices, and who brings enough technical depth to help us scale as we grow.

What you will do.

You will be part of a cross-functional team building highly scalable services. You will think about the problem, weigh technical options against business needs and design carefully before writing high quality code that is clean and well structured. Our more junior developers will enjoy your guidance and support as we bring change to the lending industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and other developers to create a best-in-class software;
  • Identify achievable solutions to technical problems that are smart and practical;
  • Write clean, high-quality, high-performance and maintainable code and related tests and deployment scripts;
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor less experienced developers;
  • Define and evolve the existing software architecture, design, process, standards and anything else you can think of.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of front end development experience working with Javascript and UI, specifically with React;
  • Professional web development experience in .NET, C#, SQL Server, MVC, Visual Studio and RESTful Web Services;
  • Experience working with software patterns and anti-patterns and understanding of best practices;
  • Experience working in an agile environment with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment;
  • Proven experience taking ownership of a technical solution from design to deployment;
  • Have hands on experience shipping real software;
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders;

  • A strong focus on business outcomes;
  • Experience with banking or finance;
  • Experience mentoring and leading more junior developers;
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools;
  • Knowledge of microservices concepts and architecture;

Salesforce Administrator

Who we are looking for.

We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to configure our Salesforce application to make the whole loan process as automated and easy as possible for our customers. You must have a good knowledge of Salesforce from an administrator perspective, be highly process oriented and eager to figure out better ways to use Salesforce so that our users have a great experience.

What you will do.

Salesforce is the platform we use to manage the loan process from the initial application through to the loan approval and ongoing tracking and management of the loan. This is not just setting up the dashboard and reporting; you will be working with business owners, product managers and developers across our organization to optimize Salesforce and continually improve efficiencies in our business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure Salesforce to meet customer and business criteria;
  • Provide Salesforce solutions to meet client needs including design, configuration testing activities, and implementation;
  • Create system documentation including functional requirements, business process requirements, technical design documents, integration specifications and data migration specifications;
  • Create and maintain user documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials as applications are developed;
  • Manage all system user tasks including new user setups, user security, user termination and ongoing user support;
  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce database including but not limited to managing multiple user setups, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations;
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards;
  • Support the continuous development of the Salesforce.com system;
  • Work closely with the business stakeholders to capture, discuss and design new Salesforce.com enhancements;
  • Develop processes to maintain data, develop dashboards, reporting and campaigns to measure performance;
  • Generate reports to identify and resolve issues, perform clean-up procedures;
  • Manage data backups, implement storage usage;
  • Perform all job responsibilities with the highest degree of professionalism, dedication, and a strong focus on customer service;
  • Keep abreast of new SFDC features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements;
  • Provide training and ongoing technical support to users;
  • Log, track and where possible resolve administer related SFDC system problems;
  • Assist developers with the development of technical documentation of existing and future applications.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, finance, accounting or marketing;
  • Certification in Salesforce.com Administrator is preferred;
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Salesforce administrator;
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Experience writing requirements, process documents, report generation, user documentation;
  • Experience providing customer support;

  • Domain or industry knowledge in banking or finance;
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and workflow customization;
  • Scripting languages.
